Prepare to sit for hours in Prague’s most relaxing coffee and cocktail bar

If you want to immerse yourself in Europe’s famous coffee culture, this is the place. Just off the main street in north Prague is Cafe Letka, an urban cafe that I managed to spend several hours in on my last trip to Prague.

This bar lies just beyond the beautiful Letna park, a short walk from the delicious mr. Hotdog. The stylishly decorated cafe is full of flowers, mason jars, and colorful crockery.

It almost feels like a rustic speakeasy turned modern coffee shop. The massive windows let through streams of afternoon light, and the old wooden tables give the place a cozy feel.

There was a mix of clientele; some, like me, sat on a stool at the bar and sipped coffee. Others sat at tables on their computers or eating lunch with their children.

They have an extensive cocktail and food menu, and the best coffee I had in Prague. Everything at Cafe Letka is handled with care - the food and drink are always beautifully presented, and their instagram is filled with stunning pictures of both their venue and their dishes.

Stop into Cafe Letka for a cozy study session, brunch with friends, or a romantic cocktail. Cafe Letka does it all.
