A close second to the Eiffel Tower and way less of a hike.
While Prague isn't quite as big or famous as Paris, it's definitely on the up and up. It has beautiful sites, elegant architecture, and delicious food.
Now Prague has a lot of sites to see, but if you're only in Prague for a weekend I'd say Petrin Tower is a must. Prague Castle is a whole ordeal, but Petrin Tower is an easy win.
Petrin Tower is a lookout tower designed like the Eiffel Tower, and offers the best view of the entire city. You have to hike quite a bit to get there, but it'll get you off your feet after dozens of coffees and cheap meals. The walk to the top is about 30 minutes (and quite steep), so try make sure you go on a day with good weather.
Sunset is the most beautiful time to go, but the exact timing is a bit more crucial. If you stay up there until the sun fully sets you'll find yourself wandering through a park back to the bottom in the dark. I'd try get there a bit before sunset, soak in the view, take some photos, and walk down at dusk.
It's a bit more cramped in there than you'd expect, so try to grab your photos quickly before dozens of tourists sneak in.
And don't forget your student ID if you have one - Students get an almost 50% discount.
